The customer is a company specialized in underwater works, piling and dredging, dikes and protection works construction, dock construction, trade jetties and marinas, the STARTER teams have designed a hydraulic winching solution composed of a set of 4 winches with a capacity of 12 tons each with their hydraulic unit attached and intended for underwater construction.
Design, implementation and integration of a hydraulic winching solution composed of 4 winches and a hydraulic power system delivering a pulling capacity of more than 80 000 daN.
Choosing a seamless bolted construction to finalize the entire project within 10 weeks. The set has been tested with its actual configuration on the barge at STARTER premices with workshops to simulate actual conditions of use.
The four ARGOS hydraulic winches are special anchor-hauling winches to be installed on a barge. Two winches are identical and the other 2 are symmetrical. The hydraulic control unit can operate 4 winches simultaneously.
The plant is placed on a welded structure in steel with marine protection SA 2.5 + 1 primer zinc + 2 polyurethane layers (total 300 microns thick) serving as chassis and retention tank.
